About Our 1897 Mercantile

 

Housed in a restored 1897 Italianate mercantile, our building blends original brickwork and tall windows with thoughtful modern updates. It’s a peaceful, trail-side retreat in McKittrick, Missouri, just two minutes over the bridge from downtown Hermann. The building is recognized for its historical significance as part of McKittrick’s original commercial core, farmer, and railroad-era development.

We’re adjacent to the trail at Mile Marker 100.8—an easy walk or roll.

Do all suites have private bathrooms?
Yes. Every suite has its own private bath, plus a full kitchen and in-suite laundry.

Is there space for bikes?
Yes—bring your bikes into our barn shed. You can also roll them into your room after a good bike wash at our Bike Washing Station by the barn.

How far is Hermann?
About 2 minutes by car across the bridge; many guests use the Hermann Trolley, or Lyft U Up Rides by Debbie. You can also bike over into Downtown.
